After determining the target species for our trip, we will meet at a local pond or lake and hike across the ice to a good spot. I will immedietly set up a pop-up shelter with a propane heater (depending on the weather). After everyone is comfortable we can go over the use of tip ups and different techniques and presentations for jigging. We will then drill holes and begin fishing. I will always be available to help unhook fish and reset lines, along with answering any questions you may have. Breakfast/lunch sausages will usually be available. All the gear needed for fishing will be provided, including live bait.

If you would like to keep fish make sure to bring something to carry them in.

I have been an avid ice fisherman in Vermont for over six years and have always enjoyed teaching different fishing techniques and methods to newcomers. As a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Fisheries Biology, I am able to use my knowledge of fish habits and behaviors to target specific species more effectively and efficiently.
Kde budeš
Most of our fishing will be done on lakes and ponds in central and northern Vermont. Lake/pond choice will be determined based on the target species.

Dan was a fantastic ice fishing guide! My wife and I had a great time out on the pond. Dan went ahead and set up before our group arrived to make sure we had a warm shanty with chairs/buckets, propane heater, and all the essentials ready to get started right away. He was extremely organized and had all the proper gear you'd expect from a professional company.
Not only did we get to fish our own lines for smaller yellow perch, but he also set up multiple larger lines outside the shanty for us to try and catch some larger pike.
Dan was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and an overall a great guy. You can tell ice fishing is his passion and he's just excited to share his hobby with all of his customers. I highly recommend his tour to anyone wanting to give ice fishing a try!

Dan is a very knowledgeable and fun guy! Although we didn’t catch any huge fish, we all caught some and had a great experience nonetheless. I’d highly recommend this excursion. It’s as bougie as ice fishing can get. He had everything set up for us. We just showed up, ate, drank, and he guided us through the fishing process. Thanks Dan!
