We will meet in a the most central location - called the Akvárium club in the 5. District, than we will walk approximately 25 minutes to the Ruin Pub district where we are going to visit many bars including the first one ever created - called Szimpla kert. Throughout our walk to the ruin bars I am going to talk about various topics related to Hungary, including an introduction to Budapest, culture, recent history and few fascinating details about the Jewish district as well .Our tour includes the visit of the 3-5 best ruin pubs (depending on the weather/season/day).We will have our first drink in Szimpla kert, which is the best and most unique in Budapest where I will explain to you about the story of this particular district in Budapest and for what reasons these ruin pubs appeared in first place. After that in each bar I am going to provide drinks for you, while you will have a chance to get to know your fellow group members better and have an open discussion about various topics.
