The Gin Event starts with the perfect Gin & Tonic, which will bypass take-off and take you direct to cruising altitude. You will:
- Tour and peruse the craft distillery and learn about the distilling process.
- Trace gin's dark origins and its journey to being the top tipple it is today.
- Taste samples of premium spirits made locally in Revelstoke.
- Learn about the art of botanics, explore their flavours and how they marry to create gin.
- Create your own 700ml bottle of gin to take home with you.
- Enjoy a few premium G&T's along the way and leave as a titan of taste and a purveyor of the perfect Gin & Tonic.

I'm Megan, the head distiller at Jones Distilling, an internationally recognized craft distillery nestled in the mountains of Revelstoke, BC. I'm a certified master distiller who's been working in the distilling and brewing industries for six years. My vodka and gin creations at Jones, the third craft brewery or distillery I've helped start up, have landed us nine international awards.

The Canadian Gin Guild, along with Jones Distilling, the Old School Eatery and a number of offices, is based out of Revelstoke's Historic Mountain View School. This old school sat vacant, waiting for inspiration. It caught our eyes, and then quickly captured our hearts as we started to peel back its layers. Restoring the building and bringing in a little bit of innovation, it's starting to feel like a monumental piece of Revelstoke again.
