Best way to view Fez. It is one of the biggest cities in the world. It will be like this : We'll be visiting some entrance fees, historical monuments that will help you to feel the spirit of Fez. This tour will put you in context with the reality of my hometown with some social, political, and cultural insights. Other things to note In our Visit, we test some Moroccan Food like Moroccan donuts, Harcha, Cactus, and others things.
Fez Walking Tour -The Medina with Hanna
You will walk tiny alleys where people live, and narrow streets with every kind of shop and food stall. You will not see cars, but make sure to step aside for donkeys and hand carts! You will meet artisans, shop keepers, and food sellers, as we visit a bakery, weaver, hammam, apothecary, tannery, traditional clothing shop, and much more. I will share some of our traditions, history, and what makes Fés special as we go, and I hope you will ask questions! Take your time as you stop, admire, taste, and take pictures. You will see our thousand year history all around you as we find museums, schools, monuments, and the beautiful facades of mosques and shrines. We will stop for a delicious lunch at a small restaurant, the kind of place where there is no menu posted, and you may notice you are the only tourist. This will be an experience to remember. Fez Souk tour & traditional Home Cooking
First, take a sit on our magical terrace, discuss which dishes you want to learn, with a glass of Morocco mint tea. There is a variety of appetizer, salad and tagine in Morocco cuisine to chooes within, even though you are vegetarian. I will give you ideas and suggestions for sure. After that, I will go with you to bring all ingredients from the market in which just 3 minutes walk from my house. It's time for you to experience shopping in local food market as a Moroccan too. I will teach you to how to cook each dish step by step and answer all the questions you have. Please feel free to take photos or videos during the class. Meanwhile, enjoy cooking and cooking with heart are the most important elements to make delicious food. I'm sure you will smile from bottom of heart and feel proud of your dishes. Sit down and relax to taste our food. I'm open to my guests anytime if they have questions about cooking. Don't hesitate to contact me after you left Morocco. I'm always your cooking teacher in Fez! Want to try something new? Come along and discover the world of Moroccan traditional arts at this unique class in Fes. Suitable for a team building activity, an academic course or a fun activity. The Berbers waterfall and hidden caves
Take a hike. Your brain will thank you. You will enjoy the beautiful landscape and the waterfall and big river AGA'A and the Atlas mountains. with a lot of fields of fruits and vegetables. We will discover the mine and the geography of the Atlas! We’ll meet either 8am or 9am then make our way to the mountains by taxi or bus. If you have a car, there is also the option of using it. It’s a 45 minutes drive directly to Safro and we can have breakfast there. Then we’ll walk inside the old city, a very old Jewish town. We’ll do some small shopping of food and then walk 30-45 minutes to find the waterfall of Safro; a beautiful view with fresh drinking water and we can stop for a tea break. We will then climb 7 metres to the top, followed by a 1 hour walk to visit the landscape and the beautiful nature of the top mountains of Safro city with beautiful panoramic views. Then we will hike up for 30 minutes to the shrine of SIDI ALI BOSARGHINE, for a beautiful view of all the city and relax and rest from the walking and hiking. We can visit the shrine and I will give you information about the place. After this, we will take a taxi or tuk tuk motorbike and drive for 35 minutes to BHALIL cave city. Visit to the Tanneries in Fez to see the Leather Workshop
Our visit will include Chouara Tannery which is the largest of the four traditional tanneries still existing in Medina. It is composed of numerous dried earth pits where raw skins of sheep and cows are treated, pounded, scraped and dyed. They use various coloured liquid dyes derived from plants sources such as indigo, poppy flower... etc. From the neighbouring terraces, it is possible to admire the spectacle offered by the Cheouara Tannery, a panoramic view of coloured pits. The Chouara or Tanners Quarter has been located near Wadi Fes since the Middle ages. Its dyeing vats, in the midst of houses in the Blida Quarter, are the best seen from neighbouring terraces. Although pervaded by an unpleasing strong smell, this is the most lively and picturesque of all the souks in Fes. You will surely enjoy this different experience and new handcraft.

Guided tour of fez medina , Fez’ fame stands as Morocco spiritual, cultural and intellectual center. It encloses oldest University in the world known as the Qaraouine University. This It makes a strong hold of both conservative and Modernist communities. It is the second biggest city in Morocco. As we strand along its wide streets, the new part of the old medina (14th century) will be our first stop. The Mullah (Jewish Quarter) is the main neighborhood in this part of the medina. Then we will give Fez El-Bali or the old town (8th century) inside the walls a chance to take us into a time travel into the depth of time and space. We will roam in its maze like small streets to have a feeling of transcendence. We will witness potters, smiths; artisans and donkeys laden with goods from diverse backgrounds and giving short gazes at the visitors and wandering its labyrinthine streets. Also famous for their souk and tanneries, we will be able to partake the artisan process inherited from ancestors since the medieval ages to get that colorful leather. Lunch will be on a rooftop in one of the Medina’s most exotic restaurants.

●This experience lasts 4 hours ● This experience required at least 2 guests , please if you are a solo traveler , contact us for checking availability We will start this tour at 10h00 by showing you to the following monuments : We will go on a walking tour inside the imperial Medina of Fes, which is a 12 centuries old labyrinthine of over 9000 alleys. The walking tour will consist of a detailed explanation of the city's history and importance along with visits to laid-back areas which are more authentic and less touristy. The main Monuments in the Medina, first our tour will begin by BAD Boujloud (the blue gates ) from there we will pass by 'Taalaa Seghira ' visiting Chouwara Tannery and continuing to the old medina of Fes. we will discover a lot more on our ways such as Nejarrine Fountain and Fondouq, the Qarawiyin mosque and library, Sebaghin, Nejjarin, and much more.
Fez to Meknes, Moulay Idriss & Volubilis
Fez to Meknes, Moulay Idriss & Volubilis Day Trip is supposed to start around 9 AM, After breakfast at your riad or hotel you will be picked up to meet your driver and head to the first station in our excursion will be Morocco’s most preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis or as it’s referred to it now by “Oualili”. The Next stop is Moulay Idriss, spectacular with its high defensive walls, immense gate, koranic schools, fountains, and domed mausoleum. Some breathtaking views of the town and the mausoleum can be witnessed at this holy place. Once this tour is over, you will head to Meknes, the second imperial city of Morocco, which is considered the achievements of one of the supreme Sultans in the history of Morocco, “Moulay Ismail”. Through this visit, you will be getting the chance to discover all that this imperial city has to offer. Once the trip ends, we will drive back to Fez around 17h.

The Program begins from your Riad/Hotel towards the Old Medina, to explore the several historical monuments such as the ancient Palaces, the artisanal shops, the old fountains etc... that are quite difficult to navigate with the narrow streets of the old Medina which are like a maze to the visitors. Through our guided tour we will have the opportunity to visit the well-known tannery where the leather is prepared to be made into products, also several Mosques, even though Non-Muslims cannot enter but you will be fascinated but its history and architecture. Following that, we may visit the fountains and several museums that introduce the specific details behind each corner in Fes city. Leaving behind the ancient monument we will be in the middle of the vibrant souks where you will see the real Moroccan lifestyle depicted by the locals and their artisanal bazaars. The Monuments of Fez are endless, next, we will get to enjoy the ramparts of Fes with the car, through visiting the Jewish quarter or "Mellah" with the ancient decorated buildings and then off we go to Batha square and then to the Royal Palace where is the king's residence, Well known of the huge decorated doors for the best pictures. Full Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fes
Join us through an exceptional journey of the Blue city Chefchaouen. Starting from Fes and passing through the Rif Mountains, enjoying the natural panoramic views. Our journey consists of 3 stops along the way to Chefchaouen. Our first stop will be at the Dam of Sidi Shahid, to enjoy the sight and take some pictures. The next stop will be a break for the washroom and cafe. the last stop will be at the beginning of the city, with a sightseeing view that overview the whole city. You will have about 4 hours to explore the picturesque small city's streets of the medina, where we encourage you to discover the local shops and cafes. The main square is known as Plaza Uta el-Hammam, which includes the Kasbah Museum, dating to the early 18 century. You will all see the Grand Mosque and perhaps the Ras Elma River that runs through the old city. You may also want to visit the Ethnographic Museum, which contains musical instruments, antique weapons, and photographs of the old town. You will have time to have lunch then We will head back in the afternoon to Fez, which will conclude this trip.

Get a local Hammam experience
- We can accommodate any specific date|time requests, just message us. -The working time is from 07:00 AM to 21:00 PM The Hammam is an old Moroccan tradition, locals usually goes to the Hammam at least once a week. But for me as a host of this experience i go at least 4 times a week. For someone who has never been to a hammam, you will need a local to understand the culture and the rules of the Hammam: *what to wear? *what you will need there? *What you should do there? ... We will start with warming you up using warm water, then we will use the black soap which is 100% natural and very healthy for your skin, before moving on to scrub the dead skin from your body using a special scrubbing clove, after that, we will use the clay for your hair and also as a face mask. After this experience I can assure you, you'll have a baby's skin Trust me, you’ve never felt as clean as you will feel after the hammam experience :) The Hammam has a lot of benefits for your body such as: • Relaxation, anti stress • Stimulate blood circulation • Removing dead cells from the skin • Lightens the pores of the skin and gives it vitality and freshness • Delaying the appearance of wrinkles in the body...

Day tours from Fes to Volubilis and Moulay Idriss and Meknes After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel or riad around 9:10am, you will start your day trip. First, you will stop to visit the ancient Roman ruins Volubilis, accompanied by a local English speaking guide, who will make thorough tales about history of the Romans in Morocco. where you will spend some time exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting an idea of life during the Roman Empire. Continue to Moulay Idriss, the Holly city of Morocco and Meknes, where you will have a magnificent view of the Medina. Then the tour of Meknes begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. Continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI). Stop at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco for a long time. Exit through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, On your way back to Fez. Conclude your tour back in your hotel. Moroccan Hammam Spa with Locals
Moroccan hammams are part of many Moroccans’ daily life. Similar to a Turkish bath, a public hammam is a steam room where people go to clean themselves. A visit to a Moroccan hammam is a wonderful experience and one of the best ways to meet up with Moroccans. We will bring you to a local public hammam bathhouse near our house to enjoy hot bath and massage. I will prepare the black soap and exfoliating glove for you. You only need to bring towel and clothes to change after the bath. If you need any scrubbing or massage service, I will communicate with the staff beforehand. I will give you a short brief about the general process to let you know what to do inside the bathhouse. Baths are separated by gender. Be aware of the different session for male and female. Men 6am–12.30pm & 9pm–midnight; women 12.30pm–9pm. Depends on availability, I will go with male guests and my sister will go with female guests. For the most authentic experience, you have to try public hammam spa here! Other things to note Men 6am–12.30pm & 9pm–midnight; women 12.30pm–9pm. There is only one time slot in our booking. You can choose the time by messaging me after booked.
