- You'll come to my ranch in Hobble Creek Canyon where I will introduce you to the horse you'll be riding. I will explain the equipment we use, help you get the saddle fitted to your needs, and demonstrate how to ride the horse and use the equipment. After a short lesson in a confined area, we will venture out onto the trails on the ranch. I will tailor the ride to your experience and comfort level; from a calm ride with me leading your horse through the meadow, to an adventurous mountain trail ride. The ride will take place entirely on private property in an area of exclusive and beautiful estate ranches. The experience, including orientation, lesson, and ride, will last one hour. Additional ride time is available for an additional fee. - This is a private all inclusive pottery wheel experience with Pottery Professional Tyler James Nyland, founder of The Kreative Kiln. This is a rich 2-3 hour class (depending on how many in the class) where I will teach you the basics of clay throwing and help you access the Flow & Zen of pottery. No prior pottery experience is needed. Each guest will have their own wheel and have the opportunity to throw up to 2 masterpieces with my guidance. This is a very hands-on activity, so be prepared to get your hands dirty! Clay, supplies, and firings included. You make it, we glaze it/finish it for you. It takes about 2-4 weeks to finish your pieces for pickup or they can be shipped for $15. - My location is in Traverse Mountain, in Lehi. The experience will be in my home. I will give an intro to Reiki healing and what brought me to the experience. I will also be serving tea and light snacks. Guest will have an opportunity to experience sound healing instruments while experiencing Reiki. We end the experience with Q & A and have a chat & tea about their personal spiritual experiences which is part of the Reiki philosophy, connecting us as we explore our journies. - This is my favorite hike - I do it a couple times a month. Lone Rock is on the side of Lone Peak, where you can see both the Utah Valley as well as the South end of the Salt Lake Valley. We'll meet in Suncrest in Draper, then will hike on Corner Canyon road to the trailhead. From there it is a steep climb up to Lone Rock and it will take about an hour to reach the top. Once up top we can explore, take great photos, sing some songs, enjoy the views, have a picnic, and meditate a bit. Coming down is much faster. There is a stream at the bottom, and we can have a filtered drink from it. All in all about 3 hours is ideal - a bit longer if you like meditating. Other things to note If you are able to watch Devil's Brigade in advance of the hike, you may really enjoy it. We'll be outside for around 3 hours, so dress accordingly. - In this 3 hour class, you will be taken on the journey of a bladesmith by learning how to craft your very own knife using traditional blacksmithing tools (hammer, anvils, and forges). No prior experience is needed!! 1) We will begin the class with a fascinating intro to blacksmithing and the history of this beautiful trade. 2) Next, we quickly review some safety procedures. Safety First! 3) You will then have a hands-on experience of forging your own knife. Choose between a straight back or tanto blade profiles. 4) Each step will be demonstrated and help, and guidance will be offered every step of the way.
