Our place is good for couples, families (with kids ), and pets. As a centre for walking near Holmfirth it could not be better with lots of public footpaths in wonderful country surroundings. Meltham golf course is a few minutes away by car - visitors are welcomed. The nearest village is Honley where there are 6 restaurants, some of which have a take away menu. There are 2 small supermarkets in Honley, a specialist food store, and bakery .

The house is a country property with rurall views all round, and adjoins a working farm (no noise or smells!). The house has plenty of space. In addition there is a lovely garden with a fish pond. Table and chairs for sitting outside,weather permitting.

The house is a let as a single unit with 2 bedrooms offered, common lounge / diner/kitchen. The owners live overseas, and do not plan to let the house out on an individual bedroom basis, the gusst will have the whole house but the extra bedroom means relatives or friends can also come along.

The surrounding area is very country orientated. Farmland, moorland, resevoirs and streams. The area was made famous by the TV programme "last of the Summer Wine" which was filmed in the area. Nearby Holmfirth provides Tours of the most well known locations.
