The Penthouse suite at the Blue House, Newbury Hill, is a large three level apartment originally conceived for corporate entertainment. Fantastic for an event, a dinner party or just a weekend in a great space.

Prostor
The Penthouse suite is a totally air conditioned three level apartment with off street parking.

The main entrance opens into the large luxuriously furnished open plan lounge with floor to ceiling glass walls looking out on to an amazing view of Port of Spain and the Gulf of Paria. There is an extensive collection of artwork throughout the lounge area which surrounds two seating areas, and a glass dining table that seats 8. The lounge also has a powder room.

On the same floor as the lounge is a fully equipped professional level kitchen, with commercial fridge, freezer and gas range.

The main level also has a small outdoor patio if you decide you want to see the view from outdoors.

Of course, if you really want to take in the view, you can go up the stairs to the roof top terrace. The huge roof top terrace is the plan size of the house, with its own powder room for convenience. Its a blank canvas that you can set up how you like for your event or just to take in the view and breeze. We have sometime found ourselves just standing up there looking out and getting lost in our thoughts.

From the entrance level a stairway descends to the bedroom floor which has a main foyer off which lead the three bedrooms and the laundry.

The master bedroom is entered via a very large walk in closet with vanity area and direct access to the bathroom with a spa jet bath and separate shower and WC. It has a king sized bed and an office/ sitting/ kitchenette alcove. The bedroom also has a direct access to the bathroom. The front and side wall are again full height glass walls.

The middle bedroom has a queen size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. Again the front wall is floor to ceiling glass.

The third bedroom also has a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with floor to ceiling glass as its front and side walls.

The property has a commercial WiFi system with excellent coverage throughout.

The neighborhood is a quiet upmarket residential area overlooking Port of Spain. Largely comprised of executive housing with no through traffic or commercial activity.

I am a retired british Chartered Accountant although I have lived in the west indies for nearly 50 years. My wife is a retired medical doctor, Trinidadian and British. We travel extensively and have homes in Bequia (ST. Vincent and the Grenadines, Intervale (New Hampshire, USA) and London, UK. which we also rent short term when we are not using them. Our primary retirement occupation is property management and we have a number of longer term leased residential properties- our guiding principle has always been that we will not own or rent anything in which we ourselves would not be happy to live in. Our main pass times, apart from travel, are boating-sail and power, deep sea fishing, skiing, classical music-particularly opera and good food and wine. We also spend time in Europe, usually Italy and the south of France. We have three children and five grandchildren who have become the focal point of our lives.

The property is serviced five days a week by our housekeeper who will clean, tidy up and change linen. This service is included in the listing price.
