The entire lower level is private for your use as our guests. No one else will access this area so feel free to relax in all the rooms. A large, comfortable, king sized bed, private bath, family room, and game room give you space to relax. Game room includes refrigerator, microwave, and eating places. Only minutes from much of the action of our city. Fresh country air, star filled night sky, even a campfire pit is available, just ask.

The large bedroom feels cozy and welcoming for up to 2 guests. There are games available, a dart board, dining table, counter/bar seating. The entire lower level of our home is your private space. No one else will access this downstairs level while you are here. Sorry, we aren't set up for children beyond non-walking infants.

We live on 3 acres, in a country setting, on the edge of the city of Mankato MN. It's a great place to relax. The roads past our home are perfect for a long walk in the morning sunshine or a great run for the athletic type. Bicycle paths are nearby and connect to an awesome network of bicycle paths. Maybe you would enjoy a campfire chat at the end of the evening or sitting out on the deck enjoying the beautiful night sky.

We love to travel and enjoy the suspense of what might be around the next corner. We are retired, love being grandparents, and love being outdoors. We don't need to be entertained when we are visiting, in fact we enjoy simple things like campfire chats, strolling through a flea market, playing cards poolside, or a lazy drive through the mountains. We aren't the ones who schedule or plan every day of a vacation, but are more likely to just wake up and be spontaneous about the day.
Traveling abroad changes that. Since we won't likely return to the same place, we do make every day an opportunity to maximize the excitement of where we are. Trips to Austria, Germany, Norway, London, Mexico, Aruba, Argentina and Caribbean cruises have been highlights of our travel. But we are proud of our own country and still have many places we look forward to exploring here in the USA.
Dan adapts to most everything quite easily but I (Sandie) am extremely uncomfortable with high temps. It can ruin my vacation to be hot for extended periods of time. We don't spend time watching much TV or movies, we would rather be doing something. We had been motorcycle riders for many years and Dan continued to ride. He loves his Harley!
If we were to stay in your home, we would hope to hear you tell your neighbors "They are sure nice people, helpful and respectful of our home.
If we host you in our home, we would hope to hear you tell your friends that you felt welcome and that it was cozy and comfortable. We enjoy meeting our guests. Join us for a campfire chat, coffee on the back deck or around the fireplace. We are easy to talk with and really enjoy meeting new friends.
Our attitude about life and people is that tomorrow is never a promise. Capture the moments, enjoy adventure, and live life without regrets.
