Many different cafes, boutique shops, Luna Park, and the Sydney harbour is a 5-10 minute walk away. My favourite spot for a picnic is Wendy's Secret Garden, which is a short stroll away. My favourite cafes would be Cool Mac and BTB, for a trendy hipster vibe. For drinks I often go to The Botanist, a popular Sydney spot, or the Kirribilli Hotel for a pub. A Woolworths and Deli are available for your groceries.
