Join us for a 3hr historical stumble down the "street of shame". Starting in the shadow of the iconic St.Paul's cathedral, we explore the tiny backstreets and rambling courtyards the ancient City of London is famous for. We follow in the drunken footsteps of literary greats including Dickens, Shakespeare, Pepys & Johnson whilst pausing for a drink in at least 4 of the most historic pubs dating as far back as the 1500's. From discovering art nouveau gems to glamorous Victorian gin palaces we enjoy a variety of pub styles and breweries along the way. It's not a prescriptive tour, so you choose & pay for your drinks along the way. We're here to offer recommendations, and you can often "sip before you sup" with a few tasters on request from the bars along the way. This allows you to indulge as much or as little as you desire! Non-drinkers can soak up the history, and wine & gin-lovers are also well catered for. We usually finish up on the edge of Covent Garden perfect for theatre-land, restaurants and of course more pubs! Other note: - Guests are recommended to be over 18 years of age to enjoy the walk at its best. Join me as we venture into the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter in London! On this walking tour of London's streets we will watch clips from the movies while I regale you with behind-the-scenes stories of those locations and how they were used in the film series. Our first stop will be the entrance to Diagon Alley, before we pop down to see the Ministry of Magic, and find out which Leaky Cauldron has the best tacos, as well as others I don't want to spoil here. I will also share some of the strangest, funniest non-HP facts I've learned about London along the way. We will finish at Borough Market, London's top street food destination, with King's Cross just a separate Tube ride away. PLEASE be aware the tour is offered in English only, and it is largely story-based, so a better-than-basic conversational grasp of English is essential. While witches and wizards of all ages are welcome, due to the amount of walking and the content, I more recommend it for ages 11+. Strictly one person per slot. No exceptions. Step-free route for wheelchairs available This London street walking tour is not affiliated with the WB Studio Tour at Watford. Other things to note Every person (over 11yo) will need an Oyster card or contactless payment method with at least £2.40. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult. The tour contains about 90 minutes of brisk walking.

Experience the freedom of exploring London by bike, just like a local, and get an exciting introduction to the best of London's landmarks and culture. We'll provide you with a gorgeous, hand-built British bicycle and a tweed flat cap (caps optional, helmets also available) and we'll set off on an adventure around London’s iconic sights and lesser-known hidden gems. Following back streets and dedicated bike lanes, you'll ride from Big Ben past Westminster Abbey and up to Buckingham Palace, the home of the Queen, where we'll see the Royal Guards in their dapper uniforms. (Changing of the Guard days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & Sundays) You'll coast along (London is very flat!) at an easy-going pace, stopping regularly to hear fun facts and some quirky historical tales. There's time to take photos too! We'll then take a break to enjoy a pint of beer at a cosy historic pub where you can get to know your fellow travellers. Lastly, you'll have a chance to try street art in Banksy's graffiti tunnel (and we provide spray paint!). We've designed this route to give you the best introduction to London. Join me for a fun, one of a kind, magical experience. A magic session in the heart of London where you will learn the basics of card magic. I will perform and teach you some well-kept secrets. You will learn tricks involving mind-reading, predictions, amazing coincidences... Step by step and with no difficult moves. No previous experience is required! By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of how magic works and the psychology behind it (magic is about manipulating our perceptions). Learn the art of wax carving and sculpting to form your very own unique silver ring, in this widely used jewellery making technique. Carving wax gives you endless options to freely design whatever ring you want, as you are not limited to a silver wire or strip. This technique allows you to create something 3D, abstract, classic, chunky, geometric or organic, so you can let your imagination run wild! The workshop begins with a short introduction to the lost wax process and its uses. We will inform you about basic tips and tricks on how to design a comfortable ring. Showing you various techniques and tools that can be used. You will then start by designing/sketching out your ring, (samples and images will be available for inspiration) before beginning to carve your wax. Once you’re happy with your finished carving we will show you how to prepare it for casting. After the workshop your wax carved ring will be cast, finished and polished by The Ringsmiths using recycled silver. You will be contacted once it’s ready for collection or we can post it out to you. If you wish to have your ring gold plated, stone set, engraved or have your wax cast in solid gold then this will be at an additional cost and can be paid for and decided on the day (adds extra lead time) Your finished silver ring will be ready for collection or posting within 3 working weeks after the class.
