During the tour we will be driving atvs around beaches, mountains and towns, also we will be visiting viewpoints in the top of the hills to get beautiful pictures, the tour starts at playa Brasilto where you are going to get clear instruction of how to operate the atvs, also you will get all the safetly equipment, after this we will start driving north from Brasilito, diving along the coast line, going around playa Brasilto, playa flamingo and playa Potrero, after this we will visit the top of the hills and enjoy at the viewpoint, from here you will be able to see the best ocean view, all along the way we will be looking for Howler monkeys, after this we will return to playa Brasilto and finish the tour. Other things to note Bring beach clothes, we will stop at beach and is optional if you want to swim on the ocean, sunscreen is very important and don’t forget your camera

After booking our experiences, you will arrive at our kitchen where you will be very welcome and where you will share a good time with an authentic Costa Rican family. After introducing ourselves and getting to know each other over a refreshing drink, we will take you on a tour of our organic garden, where you will learn about the different crops and aromatic plants, followed by picking some of the ingredients that we will use for the preparation of our dish. When we return to the kitchen we will prepare a refreshing mojito to proceed to prepare a typical dish with fresh ingredients, produced by us and our neighbors. At the end of the preparation of the dish, we will consume everything prepared in a family atmosphere. This is not a commercial coffee tour, it is an educational experience to create awareness in the only organic specialty coffee plantation in the Monteverde area, located in the Ecological Sanctuary, a 48 hectares family project focused on conservation, sustainability, agroecology, education and culture. In a guided workshop by an expert where you will learn from the basics of ancestral agriculture, how we create our own organic fertilizers, then you will know the coffee gardens planted in the forest that surrounds the Ecological Sanctuary, the drying area, and the process that involves the specialty coffee (history, plantations, growth, development, varieties and the science of flavor to prepare a good coffee). After leaving the forest, we will enjoy a guided coffee tasting, sharpening the senses to recognize defects, attributes, aromas and flavors in different qualities of coffee. Finally, we will create an interactive demonstration of the science of flavor and all the variables that an alchemist applies in the preparation of a coffee using different infusion methods. This workshop is an experience that will expand your knowledge of the world of coffee and help you become a home barista and an informed consumer. Monteverde in Costa Rica is one of the best destinations for Birdwatching around different birds habitats. I was raised in Monteverde where I have been living all my life listening all the different bird calls all the time, that I can recognize 99% of them. My 31 years experience made me very exigent to use different birdwatching places, depending the season or weather conditions to see as many birds as possible. We'll start birdwatching at 6:00 AM, where we'll see about 30 different species of birds at an elevation of about 4,500 feet above sea level. Then we'll stop at the cafeteria for a quick Costa Rican coffee. After that, we'll move up to Curicancha Reserve where we'll walk through two different life zones including different types of forests (secondary, transitional and primary) plus open areas where we'll be able to see much more variety of birds or Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve to be at a different elevation—about 5,000 feet above sea level—where we'll see much more interesting birds, including the resplendent quetzal, guans, barbets, three-wattled bellbirds, tinamous, and so many others. Is good to know that if you repeat the tour, you must see other birds you didn't see the day before.. Typically we would see 60 to 70 different types of birds. Our day starts by meeting at our office located 20 min away from Liberia downtown through the small villages of Colorado and Curubande. We count with two parking lots at our location in Curubande where you can leave your car safe while we do the hike. From Curubande we will take a 4WD for 1 km that will take us to the entrance of the waterfall trail and here is where the hike begins. The waterfall is well hidden away on the outskirts of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano . The trail is 1.3 Miles (2 Kilometers) singletrack so together it is 4 km. There are some climbing to do in elevation and some caves to go across. Later to reach the waterfall we have to swim 25 meters through a beautiful turquoise river canyon. This is a local experience that takes place where the Blanco and the Colorado rivers cross through, forming canyons and beautiful scenery which is why the water in their pools have that special turquoise tint.

Join me in exploring the cloud forest from a different perspective, a night walk is a unique and unforgettable experience. Costa Rica is a small country in Central America that is home to around 5% of the world's biodiversity. Most animals in Costa Rica are nocturnal. If you like mammals such as sloths, armadillos, active birds such as owls, amphibians, reptiles, and many insects, then this is the opportunity to carry out an outdoor activity and learn more about the nocturnal behavior of many species of flora and fauna. It is an easily accessible route of around 2 kilometers, the ‘jewels’ of the cloud forest shine brighter at night. With luck, we will even be able to observe the famous bioluminescent mushrooms. the place where I do the night walk is very close to the center of Monteverde Santa Elena, it takes only 5 minutes by car. Let's wait for you to observe how the cloud forest comes to life at night.

We'll meet at Pico Bistro (a cafe located right by Tamarindo beach) and pick out a surf board and rash guard for you. Before getting into the water we will go through safety the correct way to paddle, hot to stand up and some surf etiquette. Before going into the water you will practice popping up a few times on the sand and when you feel ready we'll go into the water. In the water your instructor will be on your side all the time, giving you tips to help you improve your surfing as we go. Your instructor will make sure you have fun and feel comfortable, and get you riding your first wave! The lesson is 1.5-2h long depending on how many people we send per instructor. If you are a more experienced surfer, we can discuss what you want to improve and then in the water your instructor will give you pointers on how to perfect your surfing.

(solicitar transporte) Primero nos dirigimos a la majestuosa Catarata de La Fortuna, (520 escalones) que tiene 70 metros de altura; donde si el clima lo permite, nos bañaremos en sus aguas cristalinas. (si llueve mucho no será posible) Estaremos alrededor de una hora y media en este lugar; luego tomaremos el minibús para dirigirnos al siguiente punto y uno de los más espectaculares, la caminata en el bosque tropical hasta la base del Volcán Arenal, donde visitaremos los coladas de lava de los años 1525, 1968 y 2010; Además mientras disfrutamos de este hermoso Parque Ecológico aprenderemos sobre los árboles y animales que habitan este lugar. (Aproximadamente dos horas hasta la base del volcán y una hora hasta la laguna verde). Una vez realizado esto, tendremos un almuerzo tradicional estilo picnic. Para finalizar retornamos al bus para dirigirnos al río natural de aguas termales (Rio Tabacón), donde disfrutaremos de un lugar majestuoso, también les colocaremos una mascarilla de barro volcánico. ( No hay vestidores así que lleven traje de baño puesto) Para después de un gran día de aventura y experiencia, regrese a La Fortuna alrededor de las 4 pm.
