Moda is a lively, artsy, and close-knit community that has taken an entirely new approach to the care of its street cats and dogs. Our focus has been to ‘adopt’ stray animals as a community- not as individuals- to tag and feed our four-legged friends, to provide medical help when needed, and of course to shower them with love and affection. Hi everyone!! The idea of this experience is to provide the best possible full day in our hometown. We will take a day to explore the most unique part of our city. Imagine having a mini-vacation within your vacation. - First thing, we'll meet on the Asian side, right by the ferry stop. - Then we hop on the ferry for a scenic 40-minute ride. Along the way, we'll soak in stunning city views and share some cool facts about the place. - Once we land on the most charming local island, we'll kick things off with a traditional Turkish tea or coffee – and yes, we can even tell your fortune from the cup! - Next up, we will hike to the beach known mostly by locals. If the sun’s out and the weather’s warm, we’re all in for a swim and some chill time under the sky! - After soaking up some sun, we'll trek back to grab some authentic island cuisine, filling our bellies with the best local dishes. - We'll cap off our day with a quick speed boat tour, bringing us up close to a private island and giving us those perfect city postcard views:) Other things to note Don’t forget to take your swimsuit! Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple or a group of friends, join us to discover Local Alternative Bars off the beaten path in Athens! Our night starts at the meeting point (Monastiraki Square) where everybody’s checking in on time. Then we’ll walk to our first stop, one of my favorite Bars: Operating through a hole in the wall, a DIY Bar featuring local artists exhibitions, Electronic music DJs, pop up bazaars and their signature Cocktail with homemade jam! We’ll have a drink, meet & greet with the group and continue to move from one bar to another (3 total). Different days have different routes and each spot offers a round of shots for the road & are exclusively selected based on the theme, location, music, art and/or delicious cocktails. Throughout the night, we'll offer you recommendations for places you can visit on your own time, we'll play bar & drinking games, dance to the music if you may and have a night to remember! The route we’ll be following is carefully curated in advance, paying mind not only to our safety but also the chance to gaze on street art and the beauty of Athens by night.
