CapMetro- Austin Public Transit
CapMetro.Org to plan your trip. Recommend downloading the app. Several routes have stops a short walk from the Bungalow, including the rapid bus that heads straight down Guadalupe downtown. Day passes and per trip rates.
While Texas isn't known for public transportation, the bungalow location offers prime access, including 2 of Austin's 4 MetroRapid routes within a few blocks.

The closest stations can be found near UT campus, as well as downtown, East Austin, Zilker Park, and the Butler Hike and Bike Trail (aka "The Trail"). Great for one-way trips, such as riding from lunch in the Rainey Street District along "The Trail" to Barton Springs and Zilker Park.

Bird and Lime Scooters offer contactless electric scooter rental via their apps. Prohibited on most trails but found throughout central Austin for roadside riding, they do not come with helmets. App required.
