Something different here, get the tide just right and walk out over the causeway to Sully Island a National Trust Island, come back and have a table at the Spinney Café, that serves a great Breakfast, they also have an evening Restaurant bang on the Beach.

Pretty good, no hookers, no druggies on the corners and you can park your car for FREE on the Esplanade at the Water Front and still expect to find it when you get back.

Visiting Cardiff, do take the Train and not the Bus
2 Blocks down is Barry Train Station with Free on street parking, a Train takes approx. 35min to Central Station Cardiff For Cardiff Castle or The Bay or Select Queen St as your preferred stop for Shopping the Day Away.
Barry Station is the same Station used for those wishing to go to Barry Island via the causeway or to link you to the Airport known as Cardiff International Airport.
