Pasajkap is a jurisdiction of San Marcos La Laguna, bordering Tzununá. It’s a strip of lakefront land previously owned by San Marcos La Laguna families, sold to locals and foreigners since 1970’s. It’s considered the primed area for the most amazing views! Yo get to see the 3 Lake -non active- vilcanoes and 2 Antigua Volcanoes, one is active most of the time and you may see smoke or lava - at night ir very early mornings - 4:30 am. Pasajkap location is the most beautiful and perfect for sightseeing. My place is not attached to the dirt road Tzununá-San Marcos. It offers 45 mts. of lakefront and a lush Permaculture food forest surrounding the homes. Pasajkap Lakefront offers private docks, like mine. My address is Muelle Columpio, Pasajkap - the Swing Dock in Pasajkap. We are in the center of Pasajkap, 3 minutes after Tzununa (comming from Panajachel and 3 minutes before San Marcos) It has a swing at the end of our dock… to play and throw yourselves in the pristine waters if this area. We also enjoy walking access. We use the entrance of the Tzankumibal Reserve, a Sacred mountain where Maya ceremonies and offerings still happen directed by local maya spiritual guides and others. We exit our land and walk on the lakefront path what would be like 2 city blocks ( arround 200 mts) through gardens passing 8 properties, which may be done in 6/7 minutes. This path takes you to the stairs case shared by Tzankumibal Reserve visitors. This staircase is well maintained by all neighbors and even steep it’s somewhat challenging. No suitable for walking with big suitcases, bags ir the like. We ask our guests to come by boat the first time, they leave their belongings and we walk with you to show you the way. This is very convenient, you may walk to San Marcos! We have no have any violent incidents in our area. We di advise not walking at night. For night outings we advise to use prive boat services. We use Capitan Victor and his 3 boats for private boat trips. We can book it or guests call Capitan Victor in their own. He charges 100 quetzales for the 3 minute ride from or to San Marcos and 200-250 quetzales for a ride to Panajachel😳

Boat service on Lake Atitlán

We enjoy both public and private boat rides. Public boats are cheap, pass in front of our dock every 20 minutes from 6am to 8pm (with some limitations according to set schedules. Private trips are available upon request, with service 24/7.
