When you exit the Meraviglia casa you turn right and you walk for 5 minutes straight ahead . You will see in 60 meters a bus station. The bus pass every 20 minutes and it goes to the center. Usually the numbers of the buses that are going to the center are 21 and 15. You can buy ticket inside the bus but is more expensive than if you buy it from a mini market. Tickets in the neighbourhood you can find at the mini market behind the library and pharmacy 1 minute after the bus station . Also you can buy tickets if you walk for 10 minutes more at the next bus station which has a machine sale.

The bus stops in the center at the square with the name “1866”. When you are in front of the square you will see at your left a shop with sandwiches called Everest . The road in front of you called “xatzimichali giannari” you cross it and you cross opposite to the road “halidon”. Halidon is a tourist road that is not allowed the cars , with many shops and cafe. You cross this road and you will see at your right the church of our city “Our Lady”, you keep moving and at the end of the road you will see our beautiful, amazing old town!

The old market of Chania is in the centre . It is an old building with many traditional shops inside . You can eat traditional snack called “kalitsounia” , traditional cheese, drink “raki” and as you are in the centre you can eat also a traditional pie called “ mpougatsa” and of course Greek souvlaki!!!
