56 Hope RoadDevon House is the famous first black owned plantation in Kingston and still stands today. It serves as a food and culture recreational park now. There are some really nice restaurants on the property including Greek, Mediterranean and local. Devon House is known locally for its icecream but if you would like to get icecream from there I don't suggest going on a Sunday as the entire Kingston will be there. Instead, go during the week or on a Saturday. There are also local shops that sell unique artisan pieces and a chocolate shoppe. A scheduled tour of the great house is also available. Lot's of things to do and see at Devon House!
