Campgrounds near Kelowna Reservation Service Information The BC Parks Reservation System allows you to book a campsite so that you can travel to your favourite park or try something new with the confidence of knowing your site is assured. You can use this site to view campsite availability, reserve a campsite, and manage your bookings. Please note that reservations are made in real-time; you will need a credit card to complete a reservation, and it will be charged before you receive confirmation of your reservation. Situated between Peachland & Summerland, BC off Hwy 97 on beautiful Okanagan Lake, this popular Park for swimming and water activities, boasts 2 campgrounds that are connected by a marked trail, panoramic views, and sandy/pebbly beaches. North Park Campground is laid out in a series of three terraces overlooking Okanagan Lake. South Park Campground is at lake level with easy beach access and large treed lawns. insider tips to bc parks At North Campground during peak season, ALL campsites are reservable! At South Campground during peak season, the campsites are 100% reservable but from April to mid June and mid Sept to October there are plenty of First Come First Serve sites available. During spring and fall, ALL campsites in BOTH campgrounds are available on a first come first serve basis. Winter Camping (with no services) is also available at South Campground during the Off Season but with no provided services. And, yes, for you boaters, there is a BOATLAUNCH located at South Park! Please remember that Wood Lake RV Park & Marina does not allow subletting of any kind. This includes Airbnb or any other rental of the rv site that you have booked in your name. All campsite reservations must be made through the BC Parks reservations system. When reservations are not available all campsites function as first-come, first-served. Campsite Reservations Campsite reservations are required for all campsites in this park. Truly a natural wonderland, Bear Creek Provincial Park is situated in the Central Okanagan Basin on the west side of Okanagan Lake. The park features lakeside camping, over 400 metres of sandy beaches and 5 km of spectacular, well-marked hiking trails. A picturesque canyon has been carved into the bedrock by Bear Creek tumbling onto a cottonwood-lined delta. This park is extremely busy during the summer season and reservations are required to camp here. For your convenience, during the summer season the park has a concession located at the gatehouse and managed by the park operator. The park is located on Westside Road, 9 km off Highway 97, west of Kelowna. From Highway 97, travelling south, leavethe city of Kelowna, cross floating bridge on Highway 97 out of Kelowna, travel 2 km and turn west onto Westside Road at the main intersection and follow for 7 km. The entrance to the park is just past the bridge over the Lambly (Bear) Creek. The closest community, towns and cities are Kelowna, Westbank and small housing developments on Westside Road.
