This is the local park for Harbour foreshore walks, which continue along the waterfront around to the fish markets. This park connects up with Jubilee Park. It's really one big park with two names.

This is Glebe's local harbour side park. You can catch the 431 bus to the park, or, it is an interesting 20 minute walk down Glebe Point Road. Check out the cafes, shops, bars, pubs and restaurants along the way to the park and harbour. Cafe Sappho has a nice leafy courtyard. The Toxteth Hotel has a nice outdoor eating area. The far end of Glebe Point Road and the back streets including Arcadia Road, Boyce Street, Toxteth Street have large mansions. You can explore the park, and then take the light rail to the fish market, darling harbour, china town or central. At Pyrmont Bay the light rail stops near the ferry wharf where you can take a ferry to Circular Quay.

Sydney's most famous beach; but definitely not the nicest beach. (Try Coogee, Manly, Bronte or Tamarama instead) The surf can be very strong at all the beaches, but especially at Bondi, always swim between the flags - the lifesavers will be watching and will come and help you if needed. You need to take two busses to Bondi, or one bus, the 370 goes directly to Coogee Beach. Best to check the Opal app as there are lots of different bus options.

Every Saturday at the local school in the next block along Glebe Point Road. This market has been running for about 40 years. I like the second hand clothes section, but the rest of it, meh.

French architect Jean Nouvel and French artist and botanist Patrick Blanc designed the tower building with the vertical garden and cantilever sky garden (which unfortunately is not accessible to the public). The surrounding district is recently developed an includes spice alley - food court (mentioned above) which is hidden away but worth seeking out.
