An Oases in the middle of the hectic streets in Beirut. Very quiet place perfect for during the week or weekends. However it can get very busy on weekends. Everything on the menu is very delicious, but a bit pricey. You pay for the location and the good quality ;)

A place for any moment for any needs! Since they have good wifi connection it is a working space for mainly international people in the early morning or during the day in the week. Very delicious local food for not much money. Secret Tip: on Friday evening they provide open buffet for only 5000LL. Riwaq is as well a meeting point for artists and people that like to express themselves. They are having movie screenings, poetry slams, Djs nights, open discussion rounds, etc. Favourite place!!

My absolute favourite restaurant in Beirut. By entering this place you will immediately feel the unique touch that this restaurant has. The restaurant itself is in an old typical Lebanese house and it feels more like sitting in a living room than sitting in the restaurant. They offer every 3 days a new theme of their cuisine. They basically do a tour through many kitchens in the world. Its a special restaurant for special occasions.

Parks & Nature
This is one of the last big parks in Beirut that are left over. As so many places in this city, this place has as well a historical story. This park is located on the green line which used to separate the fighting neighbourhoods. After many years of being closed for any citizens, it is finally again open to the public. It is a wonderful place to have a walk or a run. Especially very early in the morning it is magical since you will see the sunrise behind the mountains and the mingling of all kind of different people to do sports.

The Corniche is all along the seaside from the Beirut Harbour 'Zeitoonah Bay' to Manara. I recommend to have a walk along the corniche on a Saturday afternoon after having had a snack on the market in Downtown. In the early morning around sunrise, this place is becoming the hub of the sportive Beiruti's. All kind of people are meeting here for a run, an early walk, a swim, fishing, or for having a coffee before going to work.
