Tours of this beautiful old brewery are available almost every day of the year. The tour takes about an hour, costs $30, includes very generous tastings at the end and 10% off at the gift shop. It’s best to do the tour through the week so you get to see the brewery in production.
The Cascade Brewery is also a great place for lunch and don’t forget to wander through the beautiful gardens where you will catch a great view of Mt. Wellington on a clear day.

Primrose Sands
A stunning beach only a short drive away. Perfect for a stroll and a quiet fish.
There are a few access points to this trail along the river. Wear decent shoes as the track can get a bit slippery and is rocky in parts. Takes you from the boat ramp in Lewisham to near Dodges Ferry Primary School. Allow approximately 2 hours round trip.

A beautiful secluded beach that doesn’t generally get too busy. Head towards the Dodges Ferry boat ramp, turn left past the playground and follow the road to the end. It’s a shot walk from there to the beach.
