That's right: Acadia National Park--with the National Parks celebrating their Centennial in 2016--can be accessed directly by a boat from Stonington! The little tread and fantastically beautiful Isle au Haut portion of the Park is accessed only by boat through Stonington. Hike Duck Mountan, see the very round, very smooth, very special seashore stones.
