However, it does get busy and can be costly so going in the afternoon is the best way to avoid the crowds.

We recommend Krorez beach to all our guests and they’re not disappointed (feel free to read our listing reviews)
We usually hire a boat from @sarandaboats and take packed lunch with us.
There are also seasonal restaurants which also offer beach umbrellas for a price

Love this beach. In season they have some of the best day parties.
Pllakat beach, part of our local beach. Marble stone instead of sand but worth the effort. There are many new bars and restaurants in this part of the neighbourhood.

The complex itself may still be mid construction but the sandy bay is worth the visit

30mins outside of Saranda, Butrint is a must for any visitors to Albania. The amphitheater and the old church are some of the highlights but every time we show friends around we discover something new about the ancient town.

We often joke that when we win the lottery we’ll buy this whole village and devote our time to fixing it up ourselves. The views from here are pretty spectacular if you are brave enough for the climb
