Parks & Nature
Sunset Rock is an ideal choice for a late afternoon stroll in the Highlands area. A short 1/2-hour walk, approximately 0.6 miles one way, leads to a natural cliff side amphitheater where slabs of granite provide front row seats. Beautiful sunsets can be seen over Highlands and Brushy Face Mountain to the west and the vista of Horse Cove to the east (Sunrise Rock) is worth the walk at any time of the day.

Reservations are a must and you will not be disappointed. The converted farm house has a great outdoor area for the kids to run while. The restaurant also has a nice selection of wines. The staff is pleasant and professional.

We were so happy to get a table at this beautiful restaurant in Cashiers. The food had an elegant presentation and was delicious. From the appetizers to dessert, you will not be disappointed. Magical summer evening at Canyon Kitchen. We would highly recommend this restaurant, particularly for a romantic evening out.
