Le parc des Buttes Chaumont est l’un des plus grands parcs de Paris (25 hectares) et l’un des plus originaux. Très vallonné, il réserve de belles perspectives sur la capitale, notamment sur le quartier de Montmartre. Son aménagement, avec ses grottes et cascades, son pont suspendu et sa folie juchée sur un belvédère lui apporte un charme particulier. Il est agrémenté d’arbres exotiques et indigènes et les nombreux oiseaux (mouettes, poules d’eau, canards colverts) se partagent le territoire et profitent du lac artificiel. Que ce soit pour un pique-nique ou pour faire du jogging, les chutes d’eau, les étangs et les falaises du parc des Buttes Chaumont vous donneront l’impression d’être à la montagne, sans jamais quitter le cœur de Paris.
The Buttes Chaumont park is one of the largest parks in Paris (25 acres) and one of the most original. Very hilly, it provides beautiful views of the capital, especially in the Montmartre district. The interior, with its caves and waterfalls, its suspension bridge and his folly perched on a lookout give it a special charm. It is decorated with exotic and indigenous trees and many birds (gulls, moorhens, mallards) which share the territory and benefit from the artificial lake. Whether for a picnic or jogging, waterfalls, ponds and cliffs of the Buttes Chaumont park give you the impression of being in the mountains without ever leaving the heart of Paris.
