Great place to grab a beer or glass of wine and some happy hour food (or a pizza). Semi-fine/semi-formal dining but more family friendly. Can get loud in here so move downstairs to the formal dining room if you prefer something more calm and romantic- although it's much pricier.

Back in the day when we grew up out here this was called the MAR-T CAFE not Twede's (the new place was bad) and things were a little different, luckily the place was fixed up for David Lynch's latest Twin Peaks reboot and it's improved a lot. Now I can finally give it a thumbs up for a visit whether you're looking for your famous coffee and pie or a greasy spoon diner breakfast, it's all good here and you can get your picture out front.

If you come to Snoqualmie you absolutely MUST see Snoqualmie Falls. One of the most beautiful and pristine waterfalls in the United States, this is the mythical birthplace of the Snoqualmie Tribe.

Once the Snoqualmie Winery which hosted large concerts such as Ani DiFranco back in the day, the winery long since burnt down. Now you can enjoy stunning views. On a summer day bring a picnic lunch and sit outside for a very romantic experience. Park is large enough to enjoy some much needed privacy and peace & quiet.

Forest service roads perfect for hiking and biking. INCREDIBLE VIEWS, real pacific northwest nature. BE CAUTIOUS AND PREPARED! WILD ANIMALS! There are cougars, bears, and more in these woods and two unprepared and unskilled mountain bikers were killed in early 2018 up this road because they didn't know how to handle a cougar. Please, if you have no outdoor experience DO NOT go up here but if you DO and are well versed in how to handle wildlife this is a great place to travel for all kinds of outdoor beauty. I recommend taking a 4x4 vehicle for ultimate safety and getting way out there, GPS is a wise idea as is taking food, water, spare tire, etc. with you. Cell service drops off quickly.

This is the best local grocery store and has a lot of reasonably priced items. It is about 5-10 minutes drive from the Airbnb. If you want high quality, local, organic food you'll want to stop at PCC in Issaquah instead.

CALL WAY IN ADVANCE! Seriously, call before you even book your trip out here. They book well in advance (1-2 weeks). A local non-profit I worked at for 11 years, this service will help you get around the Snoqualmie Valley without a car and costs just $1 per person/per trip! Killer deal! Local non-profit so treat them right and donate a little extra if you're feeling generous.
