Favorite brunch place. Cinnamon bun, Irish Coffee and all cocktails are amazing. The BEALT sandwich is also delish. Large outdoor patio / beer garden for all the best Chicago summer days.

Generous portions of sushi and grilled foods. Very yummy and won't empty your pockets. BYOB (liquor store is across the street!). Only drawback is it gets a little packed on weekends - but the house is only 1.5 blocks away! So put your name down and go home and chill while you wait for that call . . . or order for take out!

Best. Coffee. Ever. If you like lattes - don't miss the draft latte. You can ask for little or no ice to have it extra creamy and you can add agave to your heart's desire. The baked goods are from Floriole - ask for a heated ham and cheese croissant and try your best not to ask for seconds.

I like everything there, and the menu changes somewhat frequently, but I almost always get the uni shooters (how can you stop at one?!) and karaage (Japanese fried chicken - no, it's not the same as American). The omakaze is totally worth it. Get your reservations early or check back often for spots to open up when ppl cancel.
