The Musée Rodin is a museum that since 1919 has been responsible for the preservation and dissemination of the work of Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). It is installed on two sites including the hotel Biron located rue de Varenne in the 7th arrondissement in Paris (with its vast garden) and the villa Brillants in Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine); the establishment maintains a collection of nearly 6,800 sculptures, 8,000 drawings, 10,000 old photographs and 8,000 other works of art.

This museum is dedicated to the memory and works of the Russian-born sculptor Ossip Zadkine (1888-1967), who lived and worked in the house and workshops that housed it, from 1928 to 1967. Although this workshop-museum has been the object of successive developments, it has remained faithful to its original identity, a place of life and creation. It is one of the few sculptor workshops - with Antoine Bourdelle's - that have been saved in Paris, and which bear witness to Montparnasse des artistes.

Zadkine Museum

The Bourdelle museum dedicated to Bourdelle retains extremely varied and rich collections. To the vast collection of sculptures (plasters, bronzes, marbles, stones, earth, sandstone) is added that of the collection of drawings of the artist preserved in the cabinet of graphic arts.
The Bourdelle museum presents other funds, however, which have been historically entrusted to it, such as that of Rhodia and Michel Dufet, respectively daughter and son-in-law of the artist.
