This is my favorite bar in downtown Plano. Good English style pub with lots of great beers and a lovely little patio right next to the downtown open pavilion. Very easy to walk to. Kitchen closes at 11 on weeknights, but the bar is open til 2 every night.

DELICIOUS pizza that serves all the way to 2 AM every night. They have some really unique flavors like Pho Shizzle which is made with a Sriracha based sauce.

Cool place that has a variety of setting to enjoy - indoor bar, indoor lounging places upstairs, outdoor patio, small outdoor stage, and a small arcade. Nice place to enjoy a beer when the weather is lovely. Totally walkable too!

Sightseeing
I love the Dallas Zoo. If you're visiting December through February, they have discounted tickets. Weather is often VERY nice that time of year. You can even take the DART down there and enjoy the ride!

If you need to go to downtown Dallas, don't drive - take the DART train! About 3/4 of a mile from the house, the rides are less than $5 for the whole day and will drop you off at the front of many Dallas sites including the American Airlines Center, Fair Park, and the Dallas Zoo.

Adorable local park right next to the DART rail station. They have two wonderful playgrounds and free WiFi! Play with the kids then grab lunch in downtown!

If you like baseball, you have to go this adorable ballpark. They have tickets for all you can eat and drink seats, a wonderful playground for kids to burn off energy, and you can even buy tickets to go in the lazy river!
