Transportation in Munich
Munich has really nice transport system and to reach anything in city should be matter of maximum 20 mins. Munich city transport do provide great offer and deals for people who are travelling in a group, so do check that out.
For example a group of max 5 people can travel together anywhere in Munich in any public transport within the city limits for around 13-14 € per day. This ticket is valid also for two persons. If you are alone you can buy the ticket for 6-7€ per day.
If you have a longer stay there are offers for 3, 7 days as well.

Always carry a Rain Jacket
Sometimes the Rains can be annoying in Munich. I think it really recommended to carry a water proof jacket even in summer , just for surprising Rain showers. Otherwise the Jacket should serve for slightly colder evenings.
