-do not exchange money in the streets, go to an ATM, and rather use the ones inside (supermarkets or inside the bank)
-always keep an eye on phone and money
-stay in the tourist areas, avoid lonely dark streets
-AVOID RAW SEAFOOD (ceviche for ex.) very specially on the streets
-wash fruits before eating them
