This is one of my favorite things to do. Packed with so much history and hands on experiences. Detailed historic information on some of the most notorious criminals, victims, law enforcement, forensic science, crime prevention and more. Allow yourself at least 2.5 hours to tour the Museum. You won't regret it. You will walk out with so much more knowledge and facts not to mention a fun time.

With nearly 40 unique shops and dining experiences along with amusement rides for children and a water show in the center of the island it's no wonder it's voted the 6th top amusement in the USA. They also have great summer concerts in the center of the Island.

You will be sad if you miss out on this during your vacation.

Wonderful area of the GSMNP. It's an 11 mile loop that you can drive or walk. It has breath taking views of the mountains. Steeped in so much history you can read the placards as you walk or drive by. Also has some restored buildings such as log cabins, churches etc and a working mill with the historical information that you can read about.
This is the highest mountain in the Smokies and located half in Tennessee and half in North Carolina. It is a favorite must see spot in the GSMNP. The half mile hike from the parking area to the observation tower can be strenuous. However the views of the mountains from the observation tower are absolutely amazing. THIS IS A MUST SEE!!
