Chiangmai a big city which has more and more interesting area to explore besides Nimman and Oldtown. This city has quite poor public transportation so normally local will drive theirs own car or motorbike. So if you don't have car or motorbike here I would recommend you to use GRAB (It's work like UBER in South East Asia) The Grab fee is pretty cheap and it is very safe and has reliable driver comparing to Red truck and TukTuk ( within city center is around 50-70Th per round) Also they have grab bike option whenever you are in hurry.

Where to get cheapest DATA simcard ?
Surprisingly!! The Data simcard at the airport baggage area is the direct one from service provider. So the traveler simcard there is quite cheap and I would recommend you to get it from there to save your time. But if you miss the airport one I would recommend you to go to the shopping mall and go the service provider shop like AIS or Truemove. Promotion wise are similar but AIS has best signal (for me).
