If you are looking for easy hikes (or a few moderate ones) and absolutely stunning views, this is your place! It’s even great for kiddos- there is a whaling museum for a little history lesson. If you park along the 1 outside the preserve, you can walk in for free, otherwise there is a small fee for parking inside.

There are plenty of gorgeous places to go wine tasting in Carmel Valley, but this one is our favorite! Great vibe, the small plates are fabulous, and they often have mini concerts on the weekend. If you have kids with you, they will enjoy the yard games such as giant tic-tax-toe, cornhole, etc.
