The local restaurant and market selections Are within a mile of our house and very easy to access. Coffee shops, and restaurants are the closest. You can easily drive to a Trader Joe’s or other type of grocery market within just a few miles
Only a 1 mile walk from our house. Coffee shops and restaurants with open air seating give you a chance to enjoy the beautiful desert winter. Most weekends include an art show or a farmers market among the entertainment.

On Indian lands in Palm Springs, on the southside of 111, this is really worth the visit. Usually a creek is flowing through the indigenous palm Forest. The drive to this is about an hour with traffic to the very western edge of Palm Springs

The most visited national Park in United States, you can still find solitude amid harsh Desert beauty. The south entrance is about 45 minutes to an hour away via the freeway. You can do a large loop from the south entrance out of the north entrance and then back through the different desert communities to the 10 freeway. We recommend taking a day to visit the national Park. It is an easy park to drive around.
