I recommend stopping in Walmart in Catskill or at Hannaford in Cairo before you drive up the mountain for the best selection and prices. Hickory Hill Market has by far the best selection for all the things you forgot on your shopping list! They have a deli counter, a limited selection of dry goods and fresh produce and a large walk in beer cooler.

This place is a hidden gem. Chef Antoine's cakes and pastries are a must try. The fried croissants are so good! The bakery opens early on the weekends and closes around lunch time. So be sure to check out their facebook page for opening hours as they change seasonally. Also if you need a last minute cake for a special occasion, they usually have a few left.
