Museum of Art
Visitors to the Norton Museum of Art will enjoy free admission on Fridays and Saturdays thanks to the generosity of the community. Free Fridays are made possible through support from the Lunder Foundation / Peter and Paula Lunder Family — and Free Saturdays are made possible by the generosity of the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation and Damon and Katherine Mezzacappa.
After undergoing a $100 million renovation, the Norton Museum of Art reopened its doors on February 9, 2019 bringing with it a new gallery space, a new restaurant and coffee bar, an education center, a sculpture garden and more. The renovations add onto the original space, founded in 1941, that already had featured an extensive collection of American, Chinese and Contemporary, Art, along with Photography. Featured masterpieces include works by Matisse, Monet, Picasso, Davis, O’Keefe, Pollock and more.
The Norton Museum of Art (norton.org) is located at 1451 S. Olive Avenue in West Palm Beach; (561) 832-5196
Tickets to the museum are usually $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, $5 for students with a valid ID — and free for members, teachers & military(with an ID) and for children 12 and under.
Free parking is available in the lot at 1501 S. Dixie Highway across the street from the Museum. Metered street parking is also available.

The house is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, and the two acre property, featuring a collection of 250 species of tropical palms, lies near downtown West Palm Beach on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Displayed throughout the house, studio and gardens are more than 100 works by the artist, including nine monumental sculptures, eight in brick and one in granite. The Gardens were designed by Ann Norton and Sir Peter Smithers. The largest tract of garden containing the great brick sculptures, is designed in a natural, unmanicured style. The experience of coming across Norton’s mysterious monoliths as surprises in their lush green jungle-like setting is akin to discovering another world.

Grato's menu offers locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality, and include fresh pastas, a variety of rotisserie items, small plates and wood fired pizza. The Mediterranean design feature open airy spaces, large windows, wood, Cararra marble, iron and stoneware (custom pieces handcrafted by local artisan potter Ronald Shaw) to create a welcoming, approachable ambiance. Gracious service standards evoke a feeling of familiarity. An open kitchen with a wood-fire oven and large rotisserie add to the warmth, and provide an entertaining focal point. They have two great happy hours. My favorite is the late happy hour with $10.00 Pizza (normally $20-$23) The pizza is the best I ever had. All their food is great.

I love this hole in the wall. Rough looking but authentic, cheap and delicious. Not fancy very much a hole in the wall.
