This place is plate lunch heaven. It is 100% real soul food. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the staff is always friendly. As you are driving down 12th St you may think that you are totally lost as it is in the middle of an older neighborhood in Lafayette.

If you are looking for a classic poboy in Lafayette, this is your spot. Growing up this was a special treat and I can still taste the fried shrimp poyboys from my youth. During Lent they also have a fried crawfish poboy which is an absolute treat.

The food is reasonably priced and always spot on. A good friend actually owns this and if you see an older guy with silver hair (Jimmy) tell him that Jason & Jen sent you!
