Grant Park is a wonderful area with amazing views of the city, especially near Buckingham Fountain, which you must stop by if you go here. It's also near our old Chicago neighborhood, the South Loop. Most of the big summertime events in the city happen here.

It's the most iconic building in the city, so I'm sure you'll want to stop by. Be sure to plan ahead if you want to go to the Skydeck since it can take hours if you're getting a walkup ticket.

I've never been inside, but this building is just so nice to look at, and is also one of the Chicago's premier architectural attractions.

This is the most realistic laser tag I have ever done. This place has arenas, guns with realistic weights and a series of tactical games they will put your group though. You can always join open games if you don't have enough people. I had a blast doing this with some friends on my birthday. You will need a car to get out there though and it takes about 25 minutes from our place.

Chicago has world class museums, and Field is my personal favorite. The building is beautiful, the setting is impeccable, and the exhibits are informative as you'd expect. They have things to entertain children as well, like the IMAX. If you're into museums, put this one on your list.

Quite simply one of the finest art museums in the country. If you like art, you'll definitely enjoy your visit. It's easy to spend a good chunk of your day here though.
