This is a great option for folks who like having more local and organic options while they are shopping, but the store does a great job offering something for everyone whatever your budget may be.

This is our favorite breakfast and brunch spot. Everything is good here, and they have classic breakfast options as well as unique things you don't find many other breakfast places (gingerbread pancakes, eggs benedict, tofu scramble, chicken liver toast, etc.)

Verita is only abut a 4 minute walk from our home, and is delicious! They offer traditional Italian charcuterie and flatbread style pizzas that will knock your socks off. Their flavor combinations are creative and delicious. We sometimes just go for the drinks and appetizers, but this is also a great option for a full sit-down dinner.

One of the most well known restaurants in Burlington, and for good reason. Awesome flatbread style pizzas, salads, and a great beer selection (they run their own brewery). This is a great option for larger groups and families.

Located just a block from our house, it's a perfect option when you want to eat great but don't want a long wait. We also recommend calling for take-out, since you can walk and the food is still hot when you get home!

This is an easy hike along one of the bays off Lake Champlain. You don't gain much elevation on this, so it may be more of a walk in the woods than a hike. Perfect for the whole family!

This hike is short but gets steep at points. You can reach the top by hiking through the woods, or walking up a road. At only 25 minutes out of Burlington, this is a nice option for anyone looking to get their heart-rate up and catch some views of Chittenden County.

This is probably the bar we frequent the most. Definitely more of a locals kind of spot. This is a good option for late night drinking if you don't mind a more energized crowd, a louder environment, pool tables & foosball. They do late night pizza here, too, which is often a much appreciated addition to any time spent out on the town here.
