Our favorite spot in Johnson City has to be The Willow Tree Coffeehouse & Music Room. Check their Facebook page out as they have something going on most nights. Wednesday is open mic, a lot of fun, free wifi, good people and great coffee!

This local favorite is open late after the bars all close! If you're looking for great food, come here for burgers, fries and cheesecakes! All made in house! Don't skip the portobello fingers or the fried pickles. You can't go wrong here!

The sandwiches are awesome and so are the pizzas! My favorite is the prosciutto di parma pizza and of course the key lime pie (also available in gluten free!) And with all the wacky decor, you can spend all day hanging out here.

This has been a favorite of ours for a looong time because they offer so many gluten free options! The sandwiches are awesome and so are the pizzas! My favorite is the prosciutto di parma pizza and of course the key lime pie (also available in gluten free!) And with all the wacky decor, you can spend all day hanging out here.
Chain I know but a good one! Good breakfast is hard to find, even in our town. This is one good option and the coffee smells amazing!

The REAL local breakfast place has to be this one! While they don't have any gluten free pancake options (yet), this is real southern food and delicious!

Get it to go or delivered through DoubleTime Delivery online. Or hang out and listen to some records while sipping an original Coke while chatting with your friends and family. The vibe here is always good.

Side note, the beer is great... Each brew named for something local and historically significant. Alley Cat food truck has a permanent spot in the lot too!

Everyone needs a little play time and this place has it! An ever rotating stock of pinball and electronic arcade games, makes this place a unique experience every time you enter. If you find a game you can't live without, make an offer because it may not be there next time you come in!

These guys! I love them. They were so helpful when I was trying figure the best bike for me. David is just an all around great dude. They rent bikes that you can use to get around town or to head out on the Tweetsie Trail for 10 miles of easy riding on an old railroad grade. Even head up to Tannery Knobs or out to Winged Deer Park if you're into a little more mountainous terrain. Also check out the Taco Trek on Tuesday evening in the warm weather months and get a beer at Holy Taco after!

Transportation
By far the easiest way to get around is a personal vehicle. There is a bus service that covers a good deal of Johnson City. Uber & Lyft are available, as well as a 24 hr taxi service.
