Cardiff by the Sea is the best spot for surfing and taking photos of the sunset. I am a surfer and a photographer and these are photos I have taken recently at this wonderful beach. It is also a great spot for kids and there are many wonderful places to eat nearby. Check out Seaside Market, Besta Wan Pizza House, Ki's and Pacific Coast Gill.

Cardiff State Beach

Wonderful place to come eat by the waterfront try Joe's Crab Shack or some of the tiny secret spots that have amazing fish and chips.

This is a very unique place to come have an amazing organic meal with a friend or family. Truly inspired craftsmanship in building this place and a wonderful staff that co-owns the place. They even have a wood shop where they hand craft the doors and windows for not only the restaurant but for other wonderful homes in San Diego. It is located just off Main Street on Broadway and is a great neighborhood to walk around and see vintage Vista and the new Vista blend together.
