This is a beautiful and peaceful place to come and meditate or walk in silence if you want to take a break from the bustle of the city without being in the wilderness. It is also an site with a historical glimpse of Yogananda and into the spiritual diversity Los Angeles has to offer. There is no membership or spiritual affiliation or requirement to come and visit the park- all are welcome and left alone. They close early- about 4pm- so check the time before you go.

Scenic hiking trails. Amazing views of the city and the observatory, especially on clear days. Trails range in difficulty. Busier on weekends with more families and tourists. Weekdays and offseason, this is fairly peaceful and quiet.
