Beautifully maintained barn within sight and two shops to visit right next door if you have little ones. Wildflower Studio and Boho Baby. If you have kids—this is the perfect spot to have your coffee and let them roam and play on the property. Far away from the street, and super close to our apartment.

Sneakers is a bustling joint for breakfast! A must visit—bring the kids—if you do, get there early—the waits for a seat can be intolerable on the weekends. The eggs Benedict is amazing (California style is my fave)—corned beef hash is great—as well as the bloody Mary’s!

Love this "hole in the wall" neighborhood favorite for Indian food. Must try the paratha bread--its very buttery and flaky--not like naan at all--perfect for eating with saag paneer or the shrimp tikki masala. Yum!!

Best to have a Car when you stay with us!
We live in a very walkable village and you CAN walk to many places in Essex Junction, but Burlington and Winooski are about 10-15 minutes away by car. This adds up if you are going to take cabs in and out of the city for drinks or dinner. Check out our recommendations for food in Essex Junction as well as all around the State.
