A 20 minute car ride and you will get to this special place. It offers you a variety of ways to be in the beach, for families to stay safe with younger children and also to scuba dive and explore the different fish species that live here. The water is always clear and there are some restaurants and shops to get fresh food around such as paellas or pizza.

La Laguna is full of shops, restaurants, museums and many more and only 15 minutes away from the house by car. It has a special and memorable style all around. We would recommend trying the pastries "laguneros" or "churros", from experience they tend to be delicious. Apart from the food, the tram line starts here that takes you to Santa Cruz and the bus station offers you with a variety of destinations all around the island.

This is the final stop in the Camino de Candelaria that starts right next to the house, it is a 4-6 hour walk depending on how fast you go but it's definitely worth the time for the views that you have as you walk along the surface of this island. There are many restaurants, shops and clear water beaches here, although the water current tends to be strong so we would recommend to walk to Las Caletillas to enjoy a more family-friendly ocean.
