Teeny tiny local restaurants - book well in advance. I have stayed in caravans with bigger kitchens and it is amazing what innovative, tasty and well produced food is presented. Amazing.

Authentic, rustic delicious. Don’t go expecting spaghetti Bolognese and pizza - it’s not that kind of place.
Instead, handmade pasta dishes with unusual dressings or unctuous slow cooked ragu, the likes of which it is hard to find outside Italy. The cold plates include the freshest of vegetables and beans. Great range of wines too
