Individually, both families originated in small towns and have longed for the grass roots, “country” lifestyle that occurs when distance from the city increases. As families, we recognize time stops and our lives’ are more deeply connected to our Creator in Cisco. It’s our belief that God created us for community and that’s exactly why Red Gap exists. We desire to connect with the city of Cisco and surrounding areas by knowing the names and stories of those who walk in our doors. Cisco, Texas is a West Texas town, much like other West Texas towns, small, conservative, gritty and filled with honest, hard-working, great people. Like the town and the people, Red Gap Brewing Company is striving to create a brand and a beer, that is gritty, true and honest. Although we may create a "fancy" beer every once in a while, we want to create beer that appeals to the person who likes beer for beer.

Known for their succulent, charred cuts of prime beef, juicy racks of lamb and quenching Long Island iced teas, The Beehive Saloon and Restaurant has earned a top spot among the elite steakhouses in the Lone Star State. Texas Monthly declared it the “best country steakhouse in Texas,” Texas Highways magazine has given it several nods and ask just about anyone on the street in the Albany area for a good place to chow down and they will point in the Beehive’s direction.
About a 45 min drive from Lake Cisco to the charming town of Albany, Tx! The food absolutely is amazing!

Conrad Hilton bought his first hotel, the 40-room Mobley Hotel in Cisco,Texas, in 1919, when a bank purchase fell through. The hotel did such brisk business that rooms changed hands as much as three times a day, and the dining room was converted into additional rooms to meet the demand. He went on to buy and build hotels throughout Texas, including the high rise Dallas Hilton, opened in 1925; the Abilene Hilton in 1927; Waco Hilton in 1928; and El Paso Hilton in 1930.
The Conrad Hilton Center is now very multifaceted. For instance, there are five divisions in the museum alone, including The Innkeeper Gallery, The Cisco Museum, The Walls of Fame, The Cisco Pictorial and The Santa Claus Bank Robbery. Embedded within the original hotel, one will find "The Steve Hilton Room", a 32' by 50' meeting room perfect for weddings, receptions, reunions, parties, and business meetings of all types.
