If you read our high praise review about Northstar Cafe in this guidebook, Philco Bar + Diner is a very-very close second. Maybe even 1a and 1b. The food here is without the best, especially for the price. Their Brussel Sprouts will change your world, and I hated Brussel Sprouts with a passion. Another must-go.

The frozen custard here is to die for. You can tell they make their custard with great care, and any flavor you get will be insanely good. The Pumpkin Pie frozen custard made time freeze, it was out of this world tasty.

Everything is excellent, excellent, excellent and made right in their kitchen. There is also their full bar located in the back called "Alley Bar". Must-go.
