Located on the top of a hill 3 km from the town the Monasteri of FANEROMENI is the saint protector of the island. Overlooking the beach of Aghios Ioannis the view is magnificient. Peace and quiet is here.

DAILY CRUISES to the smaller islands to see , swim and eat . You return in the evening . If you don't mind getting a bit tired it is worth taking it . THE PORT is only min. far from my house.

'KANIORIA' ιs at the seafront of Lygia village 5 km from the town. The owners are my husband and my son. I firmly recommend it to anyone who would like to mix with locals and eat local home-made dishes.
Fresh fish locally caught is just delicious.
Get there by BUS , CAR , SCOOTER ,or BIKE.
