Open every weekend, Denios has a fantastic farmer's market year around and extensive shopping for any trinket searches you didn't even know you needed. Their corn dogs are a local favorite. Denios is a must-do activity for travelers!

Beautiful river front shopping and dining, Evangeline's Costume Mansion is an ABSOLUTE must see. Fanny Ann's Peanut Butter Burger is mouthwatering and oh so delicious, even though it sounds awful! Turtle's has great ice cream and Joe's Crab Shack provides a unique dining experience.

Beautiful water views and great all year long. Perfect picnic location, watching the sunrise/sunset or hiking/biking trails. This lake is frequently accessed by locals and visitors and is maintained beautifully. Restrooms are available but if you're staying long, bring some snacks.

Every single section of the lake provides glorious views and breathtaking scenery. If you are staying more than a few days, I highly recommend a trip around the lake.
